Binh Dinh Learning Promotion Association decided to present 19 Quang Trung Study Awards to outstanding students in Binh Dinh.
The scholarships are of VND800,000, VND1.5 million, and VND2 million, depending on whether the recipient studies at primary schools, junior high schools, or senior high schools.
663 poor students were granted scholarships worth VND300,000. 96 students of primary schools and junior high schools with excellent results were also provided scholarships worth VND350,000 and VND400,000, respectively.
38 good teachers were supported with VND1 million for each on the occasion of new school year 2008-09.
