Under the national target program on the poverty reduction for the 2006-08 period, a legal assistance center was set up including a staff of 14, 110 freelances, and 15 clubs.
It has held many training courses on the knowledge of law for people. The center also had 20 bulletin boards in poor communes, distributed 10,000 leaflets on the legal assistance, and carried out the legal assistance for 500 cases.
The program helps the poor in Binh Dinh to enhance their awareness of law, protecting their rights and benefits.
