65 poor students in Binh Dinh receive scholarships

65 poor students from Binh Dinh and 131 coming from provinces of Quang Ngai and Phu Yen will be presented scholarships. They all passed the July’s entrance exams but can’t afford to go to the universities.

This is one of activities held on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of Tuoi Tre Newspaper’s “For Tomorrow Development” programme.

1,400 disadvantaged students nationwide will receive scholarships worth VND4 million in the first stage. Binh Dinh has 65 students.

The ceremony plans to be held at Binh Dinh Information and Culture Center on August 28 and it will be live broadcast on Binh Dinh Television Station’s (BTV) channel.

Tuoi Tre Newspaper, HCMC Education Newspaper, Phu Yen Newspaper, BTV, Youth Unions, Departments of Education and Training, and Learning Promotion Associations of three provinces of Binh Dinh, Quang Ngai, and Phu Yen will held the ceremony.
