QUY NHON SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGE PROJECT:
Home to orphans in 2009

Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh Province People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh received Deputy Minister of Labor, War Invalids, and Social Welfare Dam Huu Dac and representative of Vietnam SOS Children’s Village on Sep.12.

At the meeting, representative of Vietnam SOS Children’s Village and provincial relevant bodies talked about Quy Nhon SOS Children’s Village project.

Dac emphasized that Quy Nhon SOS Children’s Village project has a great significance to orphans in Binh Dinh and neighboring provinces.

He asked Binh Dinh to well prepare and speed up the first phase construction so that the project is able to finish by third quarter next year.

Quy Nhon SOS Children’s Village will be built on an area of 4.6 hectares in Nhon Binh Ward of Quy Nhon city with the capital of over VND52.5 billion.

The first phase includes such items as 14 houses for 120-140 children, one kindergarten. A workshop, SOS mothers’ house, SOS social center, and other items will be built in the second phase.
