VIE/03/P20 project to be carried out in industrial zones and vocational schools

Provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh on Sep.15 held a meeting with Director of New Zealand’s International Aid & Development Agency, John Egan.

Representatives of relevant bodies also participated in the meeting. Two sides talked about reproductive health program for laborers and migrants in Binh Dinh.

Mr. John Egan mentioned some issues relating to the reproductive health project for laborers in industrial zones and students in vocational training schools in Binh Dinh.

Two sides need consider emerged problems to find measures to reduce risks for the project, according to John Egan.

Vice Chairwoman Binh said that the project is practical because migrant laborers and students in vocational training schools haven’t approached services under the project “Maternal and child health in Binh Dinh” (code VIE/03/P20).

Initially, the project is expected to trial in some large-scaled State-owned and private enterprises.
