The province’s leaders on October 6 have sent condolences to their Lao counterparts, expressing the sympathy over the loss of human life and property due to typhoon Ketsana in southern Lao provinces, especially in Sekong and Attapeu.

Tan Duc Duy Co., Ltd was authorized to donate 200 million kip to Attapeu province, aiming to help its people overcome the aftermath of the storm.

Also, Binh Dinh Pharmaceutical and Medical Equipment Company (BIDIPHAR) and Binh Dinh Agriculture and Industry Joint Stock Company were assigned to offer 50 million to victims in Sekong province.

Binh Dinh province’s leaders believed that people and local authorities in two provinces would overcome the tragic consequences of the floods and storm.
