Provincial leader receives VSA’s Asia Program Manager
15:9', 23/11/ 2009 (GMT+7)

Vice Chairwoman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh on November 18 received VSA’s Asia Program Manager Mui Ngah Lee.

Mrs Lee highly appreciated the cooperation between VSA and Binh Dinh, confirming that VSA will still develop coordination programs in the province.

She also said New Zealand’s International Aid and Development Agency was focusing on the pre-school education and sustainable rural livelihood. Her visit, therefore, will also aim to talk about issues relating to these fields.

Binh expressed thanks for VSA’s help, promising the province will create all favorable conditions for volunteers.

She also asked VSA to support the vocational training project for disabled people and help improve English skills for the province’s officials.
