Quy Nhon University marks Laos’ National Day

Quy Nhon University on December 2 held a meeting, celebrating the 34th anniversary of the National Day of Laos (Dec. 02).

Chairman of the province’s Vietnam-Laos Friendship Association Tran Ngoan, Quy Nhon University’s vice rector Nguyen Dinh Hien, and 166 Lao students attended the ceremony.

Ngoan, speaking at the meeting, praised the Laos’ revolutionary war, affirming the friendship between Vietnam and Laos will last forever.

He also extended his congratulations to Lao students in Binh Dinh, hoping that they will strive to study to contribute to their country’s construction and development.

Dr. Nguyen Dinh Hien highly appreciated Lao student’s efforts and asked them to try to gain the highest results as expected.

Khankeo Hominta, an MA Lao student, on behalf of Lao students, expressed many thanks to the concern of Vietnam in general and the central province of Binh Dinh in particular for Lao people as well as Lao students in Vietnam.
