The Binh Dinh Veterans’ Association on December 7 held a ceremony, marking the 20th founding anniversary of Vietnam Veterans’ Association and receiving the third-grade Labour Medal.

The Vietnam Veterans’ Association has strongly developed in the past 20 years, attracting nearly 2.6 million war veterans to join its affiliates nationwide.

In Binh Dinh, the association encouraged war veterans and servicemen to actively participate in the national construction and defence as well as the socio-economic and cultural development across the province.

At the ceremony, Chairman of Binh Dinh Fatherland Front Committee Nguyen Dinh Thanh presented the third-grade Labour Medal to the province’s association for its contributions in the past five years.
