The 65th founding anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 20th anniversary of All-People’s National Defence Day (December 22) was solemnly celebrated at the Hall of provincial Culture Center in Quy Nhon City on December 21.

Speaking at the ceremony, Vu Hoang Ha, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee, reviewed the glorious tradition of the army during the past 65 years and expressed his pride in the revolutionary tradition of the nation.
He stressed that the celebration of the 65th anniversary of the Vietnam People’s Army and the 20th anniversary of All-People’s National Defence Day is the chance for us to look back at the period with lots of losses and sacrifices but glory of the heroic Vietnam People’s Army.
Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Minh, head of Binh Dinh Military Headquarters, delivered a speech, expressing his pride in the tradition of Vietnam People’s Army, pledging to continue to contribute actively and effectively to national construction and defence.
At the end of the meeting, a representative of the young people expressed the gratitude of the youth to the elders and vowed to raise high the spirit of glorious tradition of the nation in general and the heroic Vietnam People’s Army in particular.
