The province’s leaders, revolutionary veterans, and the others attended the ceremony.
The provincial Party Committee Secretary, Vu Hoang Ha, delivered a speech, reviewing the honorable tradition of Border Guard forces.
Ha affirmed that the national border shows the country’s sovereignty, playing a strategic role in the national defense, security, economy, and foreign affairs.
He also emphasized the importance of Border Guard force in the central province of Binh Dinh. The province’s Border Guard force has helped protect the political security and public order in the border areas on the land, islands, and sea.
Ha asked the province’s Border Guard force to strengthen the cooperation with local authorities and other forces in Binh Dinh, aiming to firmly defend and maintain national sovereignty, territorial integrity and border security.
