Binh Dinh Women’s Union on Feb. 4 held a meeting with women who are leaders of provincial bodies and entrepreneurs in Binh Dinh on the occasion of International Women’s Day and the 1969th anniversary of Two Trung Sisters’ Uprising.
The provincial Women’s Union Chairman, Nguyen Thanh Thuy, reviewed the history of the International Women’s Day and the heroic tradition of Vietnamese women.
Attending the meeting, Chairman of provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien expressed his International Women’s Day greetings to women leaders and entrepreneurs.
He called for them to overcome hardship to gain new achievements in 2009.
Also, six women entrepreneur clubs and 16 women entrepreneurs were granted certificates of merit on the occasion.
