The Center for Educational Exchange with Vietnam (CEEVN) and the province’s Office of Foreign Affairs held a workshop introducing the Ford Foundation International Fellowships Program (IFP) in Binh Dinh.
CEEVN and IFP consultant, Nguyen Thi Kinh, and IFP’s official Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh provided all information about the program at the workshop.
IFP operates in 22 countries where the Ford Foundation is active in grant making. In Viet Nam, the IFP is administered by the Center for Educational with Viet Nam (CEEVN).
CEEVN has offered IFP followships to 150 Vietnamese citizens in 50 provinces and cities to pursue study in ten countries.
The IFP provides opportunities for advanced study to exceptional individuals who will use this education to make outstanding contributions in their respective fields, furthering development in their own countries.
All applicants must be talented and hold a baccalaureate degree, with above average marks and earned through full-time study and have at least three years of working experience in related fields.
The IFP program gives priorities to individuals from groups or communities that lack systematic access to opportunities to pursue higher education.
