The NA delegation headed by NA Deputy Chairman Uong Chu Luu on April 6 held a meeting with the province’s leaders on the socio-economic situation, the implementation of the Government’s Resolution No 30/2008/NQ-CP, and justice reform in Binh Dinh.
Reports showed that the province’s gross domestic product (GDP) increased by 10.94 percent and the total export turnover reached US$406.7 million last year.
The 2009’s GDP is expected to surge by 11 percent. The province’s GDP recorded at VND1,677 trillion and the industrial production value increased by 5 percent in the first quarter this year.
After three years of implementation of the Politburo’s Resolution No 49 on Strategy for Justice Reform to 2020, Binh Dinh has reaped initial achievements.
The province’s justice agencies focused on the reform, improving the investigation and law enforcement. The justice staff were well trained, helping strengthen its organisation of all levels.
Provincial leaders also petitioned the delegation to submit some issues to the Government and Ministries for consideration.
At the meeting, Luu highly appreciated the province for its achievements in economy, culture, education, health, as well as justice reform.
