After going on an inspection tour about the implementation of Instruction No 08 and “action month for food safety and sanitation quality” in Binh Dinh for two days, the Central inspectorate for food safety and sanitation held a meeting with the province’s leader on Apr.7.

The inspectorate highly appreciated the steering of provincial People’s Committee in the implementation of regulations on ensuring the food safety and sanitation quality.

They highly valued the province’s efforts to raise the community’s awareness of food safety and sanitation.

The delegation also proposed 12 issues, aiming to strengthen the effectiveness in ensuring the food safety and sanitation quality: early implementing the planning for the production of key commodities, building technical standards for specific food, and strengthening the cooperation among provincial bodies to curb the food pollution risks.

Provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh confirmed the province will continue focusing on the food safety and sanitation quality.
