Vice Chairman visits Buddhist dignitaries

Permanent Vice Chairman of People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Le Huu Loc on Apr.7 paid visits to Most Venerable Thich Thien Nhon, member of the Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Council and head of Binh Dinh Province Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board, and Most Venerable Thich Nhu Quang, member of provincial People’s Council and deputy head of the province’s Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board, on the occasion of the 2553rd birthday of Buddha, according to the Buddhist calendar.

Loc extended greetings to all Buddhist monks, nuns, and followers, hoping that the dignitaries would further encourage monks, nuns and followers to actively join hand in socio-economic development and national unity.

The Buddhist dignitaries expressed thanks to provincial leaders and bodies for their concern, confirming that province’s Buddhist dignitaries and followers will continue contributing to the country’s development under the motto of “Dharma-Nation-Socialism.”
