Over 1,500 blind patients offered surgery

Binh Dinh Eye Hosptial offered surgery to over 1,500 blind patients in the first five months this year, said the hospital’s director, Nguyen Thanh Triet.

Among them, 500 were operated by using Faco technology and 500 received free surgery, he added.

The hospital will coordinate with National Eye Hospital to carry out the “Light for children” program, offering free surgery to sight-impaired children under 2-15 in the province from July 13-18.
