190 blood donors honored

A Kind Heart Festival was held yesterday (June 15) in Quy Nhon city, honoring 190 individuals and 10 agencies for their contributions to the voluntary blood donation.

Also, nine frequent blood donors who have donated their blood more than 10 times were granted the certificates of merit.

The report said that 68 voluntary blood donations have been held in the province since 2008, collecting 2,788 units of blood to meet the blood demand.

Speaking at the ceremony, the province’s Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh expressed the hope that the voluntary blood donation will continue spreading widely in the coming time.
