Palmers’ doctors help poor patients in Binh Dinh

A group of 38 professors and doctors from the U.S.’s Palmer University will come to Phu My, Phu Cat, Tuy Phuoc and Tay Son districts and Dong Tam Orphanage to diagnose and treat poor patients.

The group will collaborate with local doctors to test sciatic nerve patients and will introduce physical therapy, said Dr. Karol Donaubaeur of Palmer University.

The group also delivered medical equipment to Dang Thuy Tram Infirmary in Quang Ngai Province.

HCMC-based cushion company Van Thanh has collaborated with Palmer University doctors to carry out charitable health programs for Vietnamese people.

The Van Thanh Company also pledged to donate VND500 million for about 3,500 patients in rural areas in Binh Dinh Province, said Vo Ngoc Thieu, deputy director of the company, on Monday.
