The 15th session of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Council closed on July 15.

Many issues relating to the province’s socio-economic development were discussed in the three-day session.

The provincial People’s Council agreed the province’s economy has gained considerable growth, the social welfare has been kept stable, and many difficulties were solved in the first six months.

However, there still existed some shortcomings, including unsustainable economic growth, slow change in economic structure, and other problems.

Some important Resolutions were approved in the session, such as the province’s tasks for the next six months, the socio-economic development proposal to reduce poverty in districts of Van Canh, Vinh Thanh, and An Lao, and the housing for poor people project.

Chairman of provincial People’s Council cum Secretary of provincial Party Committee Vu Hoang Ha emphasized that the next six months’ tasks will require the whole province’s effort.

He also asked participants to mobilize the people implement approved Resolutions effectively.
