National vocational trainer festival closes

The closing ceremony of the national vocational trainer festival was held in Quy Nhon city on July 21.

Attending the ceremony were State Vice President Nguyen Thi Doan, Minister of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs Nguyen Thi Kim Ngan, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Vu Hoang Ha, and other leaders.

At the ceremony, results of the festival were announced. The HCM City’s team was awarded the first prize. Runners-up included teams from Ha Noi, Nghe An, Hai Phong.

Binh Dinh, Bac Giang, Vinh Phuc, Ba Ria-Vung Tau, Dong Nai, and Quang Ninh got the third prizes.

Among 182 vocational trainers winning the prizes, there were 27 awarded the first prizes, 40 runners-up, and 51 coming third.

Speaking at the closing ceremony, Doan emphasized the vocational training is one of top priorities for the manpower is the driving force for the socio-economic development.

Realizing the importance of the issue, the vocational training sector has focused on the improvement of teaching methods and the application of advanced technologies in the vocational training, she said.

The State Vice President hoped the festival will contribute to improve the quality of the vocational training nationwide.
