A ceremony was held in Quy Nhon yesterday, celebrating the 80th founding anniversary of Vietnam Trade Union (July 28, 1929-2009).
Secretary of Provincial Party Committee Vu Hoang Ha, Chairman of Binh Dinh People’s Committee Nguyen Van Thien, and the others attended the ceremony.
Huynh Thanh Xuan, Chairman of Binh Dinh Trade Union delivered a speech reviewing the achievements of the Trade Union in the past 80 years, contributing to the country’s industrialization and modernization process.
Speaking at the ceremony, Ha said the province’s labour forces need to improve themselves, meeting demands of the new age, building the Trade Union as a representative organization for the laborers’ rights and benefits.
Binh Dinh Trade Union was also presented the first-grade Labour Medal on the occasion.
