Lao officials welcomed

A high-ranking delegation from Laos, headed by Saman Vinhaket, a Lao People’s Revolutionary Party Politburo member, on Sep.15 paid a working visit to the central province of Binh Dinh.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Pham Van Thanh and other officials received the delegation.

The delegation visited the Quang Trung Museum, Nhon Hoi Economic Zone, and the tomb of poet Han Mac Tu.

Saman Vinhaket expressed his admiration for the province’s achievements and traditions, saying that Lao People’s Democratic Republic and Vietnam have a close relationship which should be maintained and strengthened for the two countries’ mutual benefits and development.

Today, Lao officials visited the temple of Tang Bat Ho and presented gifts to Lao students studying at Quy Nhon University.
