Farmers’ Association celebrates 80th anniversary

A ceremony was held in Quy Nhon yesterday, marking the 80th founding anniversary of Vietnam Farmers’ Association.

 

The province’s farmers’ association receives the leading flag by the Government for the emulation movement.

 

At the ceremony, the participants reviewed its cause of construction and development. Its affiliates were set up across the province, becoming a reliable partner of the farmers, not only in production but also in protecting their legitimate rights.

The province’s farmers’ association needed to boost its propagation, helping the farmers follow the State and Party’s policies and improve their thinking and ways of doing business, Deputy Secretary of provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Tung said on the occasion of the anniversary.

The provincial farmers’ association and 118 individuals who greatly contributed to the development of the nation’s farming class and farmers’ association were honored at the ceremony.
