A press conference was held on November 30, announcing the 18th session of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Council (10th tenure).
The session is scheduled to last from December 7-10. Many reports and proposals are expected to be presented during the four-day event, such as the report on the 2010’s socio-economic development plan and the 2011’s tasks, the report on the socio-economic targets in the 2006-2010 period and the main goals for the 2010-2015 period, and the statement on the distribution of investment capital from the province’s budget, etc.
Notably is some supervision reports on hot issues, including traffic accidents, traffic jam, health care, and the implementation of socio-economic proposal, aiming to quickly and sustainably reduce poverty in three districts of Van Canh, Vinh Thanh, and An Lao in 2010.
A supplementary election will also be carried out in the upcoming session.
