The 18th session of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Council (10th tenure) came to a close on December 9.

During the 3-day deliberations, the provincial People’s Council worked out reports and statements delivered by provincial People’s Committee, bodies of provincial People’s Council, and relevant agencies.
The participants also put questions to the provincial Chairman and leaders of administrative bodies.
At the session, provincial Vice Chairman Le Huu Loc was elected Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Committee (the 10th tenure).
The provincial People’s Council agreed with 15 resolutions focusing on the 2011’s socio-economic development tasks, the 2011’s plan for investment and development, regulations on devolving revenues and budget spending to local authorities in the 2011-2015 period, the price list of land in Binh Dinh in 2011, and other issues related to the local budget in 2011.
Chairman of Binh Dinh Provincial People’s Council Vu Hoang Ha called on officials, enterprises’ owners, armed forces, and all people to make every effort to carry out measures, aiming to met the targets set by the National Assembly and Government, such as improving the macroeconomic stability, controlling the inflation, striving to gain higher growth, enhancing the competitiveness of the economy, and ensuring the national defence, security and public order.
Ha also asked all people to implement key tasks and measures, backing the five-year development plan (2011-2015).
