The Cuu Loi Museum was built at the venue where the Cuu Loi Communist Party Cell was set up. It was recognized as a relic of provincial magnitude in 1996.
In 2000, the Cuu Loi Museum was upgraded for the first time. It is now a beautiful museum where many historical items are displayed.
Another 30 objects were also added to the Cuu Loi museum last month. Dinh Ba Hoa, director of the Binh Dinh General Museum, said the 30 items originated during the early years of the Cuu Loi Communist Party Cell, in Tam Quan Nam Commune, Hoa Nhon District in the period from 1930-36. The collection includes documents originating from French secret agents and a French Minister on the coming into being of the Cuu Loi Party Cell, maps and personal belongings of some Party members.
The items are displayed in chronological order, showing the development of Cuu Loi Communist Party Cell, revolutionary movements in Hoai Nhon and other districts, and the success of the 1945 August Revolution in the district.
“The display is expected to be effective because the items selected to be displayed mainly originated during the early years of the Cuu Loi Communist Party Cell in the period from 1930-36,” Hoa said. “Also, lights with different colors are used to make the showcases more attractive.”
The Cuu Loi Museum is now ready for the the 80th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam and Cuu Loi Communist Party Cell, which is scheduled to be held on February 2.
