A solemn meeting was held in Quy Nhon city on Feb. 2 to celebrate the 80th founding anniversary of the Communist Party of Vietnam (CPV) (Feb. 3).

Prominent among those at the event were provincial leaders, former provincial leaders, a large number of revolutionary veterans, Vietnamese heroic mothers, and representatives of many bodies and agencies in the central province of Binh Dinh.

At the meeting, Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Vu Hoang Ha delivered a speech paying tribute to President Ho Chi Minh – the beloved leader of the nation and the founder of the CPV.

He also recalled the 80-year glorious history of the CPV and the great victories of the Vietnamese revolution and the strong and comprehensive development of the country.

The representatives of revolutionary veterans and Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union members expressed the gratitude to the Party and Uncle Ho, highlighting the Party’s glittering milestones over the past eight decades.

With pride and deep gratitude, the representatives of Party members and youth are determined to uphold the glorious traditions of the Party and the nation, contributing to the country’s development.
