Binh Dinh Department of Labour, War Invalids, and Social Affairs on February 4 held a meeting to review last year’s results and implement the 2010’s tasks.
In 2009, the Department actively coordinated with relevant bodies and localities to resolve social problems and effectively carry out key tasks.
The 2010 will see 33-35000 people who are at working age and 20000 remaining unemployed in the previous year, according to the report.
The Department of Labour, War Invalids, and Social Affairs, therefore, will strive to create 25000 new jobs, including 550 for labor export, and reduce the unemployment rate to below 5 percent.
To meet the targets, the labor market will aided to develop, the job transaction floor will be effectively used, and more than 25000 people will be offered vocational training.
According to the targets set the meeting, the rate of poor households in Binh Dinh will drop by 8.3 percent and the average per capita income of a poor household is expected to gain over VND3 million per year.
