Provincial leaders pay pre-Te visits to religious organisations

Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Vu Hoang Ha and representatives of relevant bodies paid pre-Tet visits to the monk Thich Thien Nhon, head of Binh Dinh Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board, the monk Thich Phuoc Thanh, and Cau Kho Tam Quan’s Cao Dai religious sect on February 11.

On the same day, the delegation headed by Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province visited and extended Tet greetings to the Binh Dinh Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board, Quy Nhon Bishop’s Office, and the province’s Committee for Catholic Solidarity.

Permanent Deputy Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Thanh Tung paid pre-Tet visits to Binh Dinh Buddhist Secondary School and Nguyen Thieu Monastery.

Leaders extended their greetings to all Buddhist monks, nuns, and believers to mark the day, and expressed wish that the dignitaries would further encourage monks, nuns and believers to actively join hand in socio-economic development and national unity.

On behalf of Most Venerables, monks, nuns and followers in the province, dignitaries expressed thanks to the provincial Committee of the Party, People’s Council, People’s Committee, and provincial organizations for their support and assistance.

The dignitaries affirmed that all Buddhist monks, nuns and followers have united to contribute to the development of the country under the principle: religion-nation-socialism.
