The delegation of Vietnam Sea and Islands General Department led by its head, Nguyen Van Cu, paid a working visit to the central province of Binh Dinh on March 20.

According to the reports presented at the meeting hosted by provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh, the province has made all-out efforts in protecting the sea and islands.

Some projects and action programs have been effectively implemented so far; however, the province’s natural resources and environment sector is still facing difficulties.

Binh, therefore, asked the General Department to increase the workforce for Binh Dinh Natural Resources and Environment Department.

Also, she expressed the hope that the staff working in the field of sea and island protection will be offered training courses.

Head of Vietnam Sea and Islands General Department, Nguyen Van Cu, highly appreciated the province’s efforts in managing and protecting the sea and islands.
