A ceremony was held in Quy Nhon yesterday (Mar.30), celebrating the 35th anniversary of Binh Dinh Province’s liberation day (March 31, 1975-2010). The PM’s decision on recognizing Quy Nhon as the first-grade city was also announced on the same day.

Representatives of the central bodies, provincial leaders, former provincial leaders, and the others attended the ceremony.
At the ceremony, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Nguyen Van Thien delivered a speech, reviewing the province’s revolutionary tradition in the anti-American resistance war, contributing to the great victory of Spring 1975.
Thien emphasized the province’s achievements in the past 35 years, affirming that the recognition of Quy Nhon as the first-grade city is a major breakthrough in the city’s development process.
On the occasion, Permanent Deputy Minister of Construction Cao Lai Quang announced the PM’s decision on recognizing Quy Nhon as the first-grade city administered to Binh Dinh Province.
