A meeting with the participation of six central coastal provinces of Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, and Ninh Thuan was held in Quy Nhon yesterday (Apr.1).

Representatives of participating provinces reviewed the emulation activities in six provinces last year and signed the 2010’s mutual agreement on emulation.

The reports said that provinces implemented many measures for the emulation movement, fulfilling assigned tasks, reducing poverty and eliminating hunger. Quang Nam province was voted the best one for the 2009’s emulation movement.

The Permanent Deputy Minister of Home Affairs Tran Huu Thang, who is also a member of the Central Council for Emulation and Reward, acknowledged the changes of the emulation movement in six provinces, asking them to pay more attention to the emulation and reward this year.
