The delegation of the National Assembly’s Economic Committee headed by its Vice Chairman Le Quoc Dung paid a working visit to the central province of Binh Dinh on April 15.
Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Ho Quoc Dung and representatives of relevant bodies held a meeting with the delegation.
Provincial Vice Chairman Dung presented the province’s achievements in 2009 and its socio-economic tasks this year. The province’s leaders worked out measures to promote the development of the economic sector, ensuring the sustainable growth, Dung said.
Binh Dinh is expected to get an increase of 10 percent in GDP against 2009 and the total export turnover of 350 million USD this year, according to the report.
Speaking at the meeting, the NA Economic Committee’s Vice Chairman Dung affirmed that Binh Dinh has effectively exploited its potential and advantages, but it still requires more practical measures to reach the reasonable growth and promote the export.
He also asked the province to pay more attention to the mineral exploitation and the national defense when the forest land is hired.
