Minister of Health Nguyen Quoc Trieu paid a working visit to the central province of Binh Dinh on April 26.
Permanent Vice Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Le Huu Loc received the delegation.
Visiting the Quy Hoa National Leprosy Dermatology Hospital, Trieu praised its achievements in implementing the national target programs on leprosy protection and asked its staff to focus on advanced technologies to sustainably monitor the leprosy.
He also visited the Quy Nhon Institute of Malariology, Parastology, and Entomology. Trieu said the institute must be closely linked with the health network of all levels to effectively control the ever-increasing rate of parasitic and entomological diseases.
Speaking at a meeting with the representatives of An Nhon district’s Medical Center, Minister Trieu acknowledged its effort in implementing the medical treatment and preventive health-related issues.
