Binh Dinh celebrates Uncle Ho’s 120th birthday

A meeting was held in Quy Nhon on May 18 to celebrate the 120th birthday of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890-2010).

Prominent at the ceremony were Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Vu Hoang Ha, Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Nguyen Van Thien, many former provincial leaders and revolutionary veterans.

Provincial Party Secretary Ha delivered a speech, recalling the great contributions the beloved President has made to the revolutions for national liberalization and socialism as well as the struggle for peace, independence, democracy and social progress in Vietnam and the world.

“Ho Chi Minh’s Thoughts and credits are always recognized and acclaimed worldwide,” he stressed in his speech.

Speaking at the ceremony, Colonel Nguyen Ngoc Minh, head of the Binh Dinh Military Headquarters, and Ly Tiet Hanh, deputy Secretary of the province’s Youth Union, pledged loyalty to the noble revolutionary ideal chosen by the Party and Uncle Ho.
