Whenever the summer holiday comes, children-related issues are a major concern for all parents and the whole society. However, their concern doesn’t always bring happiness to children.

Summer destinations
Enrolling “art for beginners” or aerobics classes for their children is the parents’ top choice during the summer holiday. Quy Nhon city sees many choices for children.
The province’s Labor Cultural Palace has offered children a variety of summer classes in this year’s summer holiday, let alone a wide choice of entertainment, such as the “One minute for performance” program in which participants will have chances to perform their talent and creativeness, a drawing competition, and a kite contest.
The province’s Cultural Center has opened some summer courses for students since 2009. “At the end of the courses last year, we organized some competitions which were warmly welcomed by their parents,” said Nguyen Thi Thu Quy, a member of the staff at the center. “They were also very pleased to see their children perform in some programs.”
The center will continue opening the courses in this year’s summer holidays. They are expected to start by June 7.
Alongside these, children will be able to enjoy many interesting films which are scheduled to be presented across the province from June 1 to August 30. Those who like watching films could go to the 31.1 cinema in Quy Nhon on Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday every week; whilst, children living in districts will also have chances to watch these films.

For a happy summer
After an academic year, children are deserved to enjoy entertainment activities during the three-month summer holiday. However, many parents, particularly those living in big cities, often think of places for study instead of destinations for entertainment.
We couldn’t blame these parents for giving great attention to their children, but the unreasonable concern often causes side effects only.
Many parents burst into tears when seeing their children get tired from studying. However, they couldn’t be against the unreasonable issues because every child goes to school during the summer holiday.
Moreover, leaving them home is not a secure solution because internet cafés in which there are many violent games have mushroomed everywhere.
The child’s rights for entertainment require more than slogans or several activities. Parents today are asking for more and more interesting destinations for children to meet their demand for relax.
It’s necessary that all families and social organizations need to organize different activities, such as camping, visiting historical relics, and raising fund for disadvantaged children, helping them enjoy a happy summer holiday.
