The National Assembly (NA) Vice Chairman Nguyen Duc Kien and head of the NA Committee for People’s Aspirations Tran The Vuong paid a working visit to Binh Dinh on August 1.

Secretary of Binh Dinh Provincial Party Committee Vu Hoang Ha and Chairman of the People’s Committee of Binh Dinh Province Nguyen Van Thien received the delegation.
On his first day in Binh Dinh, NA Vice Chairman Kien visited and held a meeting with the Tran Hung Dao ward’s authorities.
The ward’s leaders briefed him on its socio-economic situation and petitioned some policies related to the grass roots officials.
He highly appreciated the achievements of the ward in particular and of Quy Nhon city in general, asking the local authorities to strive to make the ward become one of leading wards of the city. He then presented 20 gifts to social beneficiaries in the ward.
NA Vice Chairman Kien also visited and presented gifts to former leaders, revolutionary veterans, Heroes of the People’s Armed, and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers.
Also, on the occasion, Kien visited the Phu Hiep Co., Ltd in Phu Tai industrial zone and attended the groundbreaking ceremony of An Phu Thinh new urban area.
