Deputy Minister Bui Hong Linh pays working visit to Binh Dinh

Deputy Minister of Labour, War Invalids, and Social Affairs Bui Hong Linh went on an inspection tour about the implementation of the Resolution 30a in Binh Dinh on August 3.

Provincial Vice Chairman Ho Quoc Dung, leaders of relevant bodies and three poor districts of Van Canh, Vinh Thanh, and An Lao received the delegation.

A total of VND75 billion was poured into the infrastructure construction and support for educational and cultural facilities as well as production in three districts of Van Canh, Vinh Thanh, and An Lao last year under the Resolution 30a, aiming to assist them in rapidly and sustainably reduce poverty, according to the report.

In 2010, a financial assistance of VND60 billion has been continued to be used to build infrastructure and nearly VND15 billion is for the production development and vocational training for 560 ethnic minority people.

Speaking at the meeting, Deputy Minister Linh highly valued the province’s implementation of the Resolution 30a in three districts, asking the province to closely monitor the implementation of the Resolution 30a in the coming time, helping the locals reduce their poverty rapidly and sustainably.
