Students join environmental protection contest

A contest on environmental protection was jointly held by the Environment Protection Agency (EPA) of Binh Dinh Department of Natural Resources and Environment and Luong The Vinh secondary school’s management board on September 6.

50 participating students answered 25 questions on various issues of environment protection. A 9th grader claimed the first prize.

On the occasion, the EPA also organized a seminar on environmental protection and launched some campaigns on tree planting and waste sorting at source, painting and writing contests about environmental protection, contest on making tools out of waste materials, implementation of sanitary toilet model and the combination of environmental protection-related issues with the school regulations.
