The Binh Dinh Fund for Vietnamese Children’s financial assistance of VND116 million will be pumped through 11 offices of labor, war invalids, and social affairs at district and city levels, helping 1.200 poor children and 330 orphan and disabled ones enjoy the full-moon festival.
An Nhon district and Quy Nhon City will be financed VND10 million each to organize a mid-autumn festival for 800 children and visit and offer gifts to orphan and disabled children at the province’s Social Sponsoring center, Dong Tam Social Sponsoring Center and Quy Nhon-based Hy Vong (Hope) Specialized School.
The provincial Youth Union’s Standing Board has just announced a plan on organizing a “Celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival” with the cooperation of the municipal People’s Committee.
The celebration will be held at Quy Nhon Trade Centre from September 20-22.
12 secondary schools’ students and the city’s orphans will enjoy the event with various activities, including drawing contest, lantern and mask making competitions, and folk games.
500 homeless orphans and city’s children will receive gifts and join the Mid-Autumn Festival with lion dance and art performance.
