50 gifts, scholarships presented to teachers, students

50 gifts and scholarships worth VND60 million were presented to 40 students and 10 teachers of high schools and primary schools in Quy Nhon on the occasion of the new school year.

The Binh Dinh branch of Bank for Investment and Development of Vietnam coordinated with the Quy Nhon City’s Education and Training Office to organize a granting ceremony on September 11.

40 scholarships worth VND500,000 each were offered to poor but outstanding students and 10 gifts worth VND500,000 each for 10 disadvantaged teachers who have made educational achievements.

Also, 10 sets of computers were given to Quy Nhon City’s Office of Education and Training to equip schools with new computers on the occasion.
