Binh Dinh delegation visits Attapeu province

The Binh Dinh Province’s delegation headed by its Party Chief Nguyen Van Thien paid a working visit to southern provinces of Laos.

The delegation visited Attapeu province on October 16.

At the meeting with the Attapeu’s leaders, its Governor Khanphan Phommathat briefed the delegation on the province’s socio-economic development as well as the cooperation between two provinces.

Binh Dinh has supported Attapeu in medical official training, seeds, and scholarships for Lao students studying at Quy Nhon University. Attapeu also donated VND50 million to flood victims in Binh Dinh in 2008.

Binh Dinh’s Party Chief Thien expressed many thanks to Attapeu’s leaders in supporting Binh Dinh enterprises operation in the province. He hoped that two provinces will continue strengthening cooperation programs signed by two sides.’

The delegation had a talk with Attapeu’s leaders and sign memorandum for cooperation between two provinces on Oct. 17.
