Binh Dinh saw no rain on November 8; however, the floodwater has submerged many areas across the province.

The local residents have to use boats to move.

Flash floods and heavy rain hitting the central provinces from Quang Binh to Binh Dinh since on Nov. 4 have resulted in six deaths and one missing person, according to a report from the Central Committee for Flood and Storm Control.

More than 500 households in Phuoc Hoa commune of Tuy Phuoc district have been isolated. 10 hamlets are now also flooded, according to Chairman of the commune’s People’s Committee Nguyen Van Nham.

Communes of Phuoc Thang, Phuoc Nghia, and Phuoc Son are in the same boat. The local authorities have gone to each house to offer them food aid.

Many roads running through some communes in districts of Tuy Phuoc and Phu Cat have been absolutely covered with water. Some 10,000 workers couldn’t go to work at industrial zones.

The mountainous district of An Lao also sees severe damage. The flood destroyed many roads, making some communes become isolated.
