25,000 laborers expected to have jobs in 2011

Binh Dinh Department of Labor, War Invalid, and Social Affairs on Feb. 24 held a meeting to implement the 2011’s tasks.

The Department’s leaders presented the reports on some issues, including vocational training, social sponsoring, job generation, preferential policies for social beneficiaries, child care and protection, and labor export.

The sector will strive to generate 25,000 new jobs this year. Accordingly, 500 people will work abroad and 21,000 laborers will be offered vocational training courses.

The participants also talked about the target of reducing the rate of poor households by 2 percent against 2010, the sustainable poverty reduction, child care and protection, and social evils prevention.
