Lao delegation pays working visit to Binh Dinh

The delegation of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry and Ministry of Industry and Commerce of Laos headed by Deputy Director General of Forest Inspection Department Khampout Phandanouvong paid a working visit to Binh Dinh on March 3.

The Binh Dinh’s representatives briefed them on the province’s forestry sector as well as its wood import and processing.

Binh Dinh is one of wood processing hubs nationwide, according to Binh Dinh Department of Agriculture and Rural Development’s leaders. There are now more than 100 wood manufacturers across the province, focusing on wooden furniture.

The Chief of Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry Secretariat, Susath Sayakhomane, expressed many thanks to the local authorities for sharing experience in the forest management.
