A ceremony was held at the provincial centre of culture on March 24, marking the 80th founding anniversary of Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union which falls on March 26.

Provincial leaders, the representatives of local Youth Union members, and the others attended the ceremony.
At the meeting, Secretary of Binh Dinh Youth Union, Tran Tuan Thanh, reviewed the glorious history of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union and presented some achievements of the province’s youth.
Speaking at the meeting, provincial Party Chief Nguyen Van Thien praised its outstanding results and emphasized that the Youth Union must confront with both advantages and disadvantages.
It should bring into play nation’s traditions as well as continue to make greater efforts to fulfill the assigned tasks to further contribute to the cause of national construction and defence, he added.
On the occasion of the celebration, Binh Dinh Youth Union received the Second-grade Labor medal. Also, 80 outstanding Youth Union members were honored at the meeting.
