Laborers attend a Korean language course at Binh Dinh job centre. |
Binh Dinh job centre has strengthened the labor export since early this year. Exporting laborers to such high-income markets as Republic of Korea (RoK) and Japan is prioritized.
Alongside the tasks of vocational training and job consultation, the labor export has also been given special concern, helping laborers seek more employment opportunities, according to the centre’s director Do Thanh Son.
27 laborers have gone to work abroad since early this year, including 18 people working in Korea, 5 in Japan, and 4 in Malaysia.
At present, 85 laborers are now ready to work abroad after passing the Korean language exam. The centre is now opening language courses for 373 people.
The RoK market has a great demand for laborers this year via the labor agreement signed by Vietnam and RoK. Under the program, those who want to work in RoK will be able to reduce the expense and have high income and they will be directly recruited by RoK’s companies.
The Japan market is now requiring 100 manual laborers or skilled workers who are qualified in fields of mechanics, plastic processing, and electrical installation.
Many laborers wanted to penetrate the Japan market as it often offers stable and high income jobs, but only those who have much money were able to work in Japan as they had to make a big deposit. After the deposit was abolished, the number of people working in Japan has increased.
The Taiwan market also sees many high-income jobs. At present, the market is recruiting 100 manual laborers working in different fields.
Seeking employment opportunities at the centre, laborers are able to find stable and high-income jobs, said Son.
