The blood transfusion and hematology centre located at Binh Dinh General Hospital inaugurated on May 5.
Attending the inauguration ceremony, provincial Vice Chairwoman Nguyen Thi Thanh Binh emphasized that the centre made a breakthrough in ensuring adequate supplies of blood and blood-related products for the province, serving the treatment in some medical clinics.
The health sector and local authorities need focus on policies, facilities, and operation, helping the centre to operate effectively, she added.
