Provincial People’s Committee’s Chairman Le Huu Loc and other leaders visited the Binh Dinh Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board and Buddhist monk Thich Nguyen Phuoc, member of Vietnam Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Council on the occasion of the 2555th birthday of Lord Buddha.

Provincial Chairman Le Huu Loc presents a bunch of flowers to Buddhist monk Thich Nguyen Phuoc.

He sent his best wishes to the Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and Buddhist followers across the province on the occasion.

He said he hoped the dignitaries will always come along with the nation, and encourage Buddhist followers to join hands with people of all walks of life in realising national industrialisation and modernisation.

The dignitaries expressed thanks to the Party and State’s care for the VBS and Buddhist followers, praising policies on social welfare and freedom of religion.

On the same day, the delegation led by Head of provincial Party Committee’s Mass Mobilisation Board, Nguyen Dinh Thanh, visited and extended greetings to Binh Dinh Buddhist Sangha’s Executive Board and its head, Thich Thien Nhon, as well as other dignitaries.

He expressed his best wishes to Buddhist dignitaries, monks, nuns and followers.

The Buddhist dignitaries thanked the delegation for their visit even though they are busy preparing for the upcoming elections for the 13th National Assembly and People's Council at all levels.
